MEGATRENDS MUSIC and POP CULTURE: “the show must go on”
All
in our life is running shorter – trends exist in the mega
metropolises and big cities often only a few hours or less
1.
“Big is beautiful” and superstars further only coming
from north and south America, England and Australia
2. 2004 is again a retro year like 2003, styles, colors and mixes
from the trend decades 70's and 80's preferentially are taken up
3. POP culture / music dominates far increasing world-wide as branding
the world sound
4. Pop + Ethno music is bringing new 'further impuls(es): 1. asia(tically);
China, India, Taiwan...),
2. AU/Africa and evergreen South American (latino, caribic, salsa,..)
more and more mixed in the way not to distinguish it back
5. Music such as the interpreter even more globalized in clothes,
language, slang till behavior
6. the only way to avoid the consumer of copying of digital conten
is to offer bonus material, organize meetings in clubs and on parties,
make live events in the future: increasing more largely ', more
beautifully, more versatile
7. the task is to transport local-global emotions to buyers and
the merchandising of fan and accompaning articles
8. best target group today: Power WoMen, best target group tomorrow:
power (G)Oldies
9. youth and kid influence stagnating on a high level active like
passive - reason is the lack of new talents: go(o)d trained, but
without personality and glance even from pop schools; also bad the
increasing karaoke culture and fewer singing
10. polarizing markets: between luxury and discount is a gap
11. polarizing culture:between classical-finely and rock finaly,
techno pure and pop gigant: they separate now after years of the
melting and mixes
12. press work and buzz marketing (mouth-to-mouth) is further more
strongly than ad(vertisement); cinema the trendsetter and trendspotter
for fashion such as music style
13. further pseudo marketing: good as bad played separations like
in reality shows with non-ending go-away tournees and sudden re-union
(reunifications) later because of financial problems; the music
show production becomes still larger and more perfect: 1.flirt and
marriage, 2. all versions and facettes of love, alcohol, regret,
prison, improvement... co- and re-lapse
14. playing many roles at the same time play with no end: vamp (mystery,
gothic-horror topic), adventurer, dream dancer, lover, bad boy as
girl... the video Shows (DVD) sell themselves better by professionals
and good music more in internet networks and web radio stations.
